CyberLink PowerDVD

CyberLink PowerDVD Edit

This is a Video Production, Video Players Software

CyberLink PowerDVD is a commercial media player for Microsoft Windows and Linux. Several editions of the software are sold including "Ultra", "Deluxe" and "Standard". All editions support the viewing of DVD but only the Ultra edition supports Blu-ray playback.
The product is distributed via physical media or via download from the Cyberlink website. PowerDVD is often bundled with a variety of PC systems and peripherals (particularly optical drives).
HD DVD support was included in some versions of PowerDVD 7 but was removed from PowerDVD 8 because there will be limited new releases in this format as it is no longer supported by any major studio. It can be re-enabled in the original retail version of PowerDVD 8 through a workaround. Cyberlink advises users who want to keep HD DVD playback to buy the Ultra editions of PowerDVD 7 and 8 which can be installed together on the same system.

'''CyberLink Launches PowerDVD 10'''
Enabling Full HD and 3D Blu-ray playback, CyberLink PowerDVD 10 features TrueTheater 3D technology, upgrading the movie experience with 3D movie playback for DVD discs and video files. Meanwhile, the improved version of TrueTheater HD, optimized for the latest CPU/GPU acceleration technologies, enables the upscaling of both DVD movies and video files to HD. With the initial release of PowerDVD 10, consumers will enjoy Full HD Blu-ray movies, plus the new media-enhancing features of CyberLink's advanced suite of TrueTheater technologies: TrueTheater 3D, TrueTheater HD, TrueTheater Noise Reduction, and TrueTheater Stabilizer. What's more, with a "Mark II" scheduled for release this summer, consumers can add Blu-ray 3D playback and 2D-to-3D video file conversion to their software. Mark II will be free for consumers who already purchased PowerDVD 10 Ultra 3D.

    • Blu-ray movie is surely attractive. However, you may get bothered to play it on your Blu-ray drivers. So why not try to '''copy Blu-ray movie''' to your iPod and watch them anywhere and anytime?
