Open Tor, or if you don't currently have it installed, download it as freeware and install it (see Resources).

2

Click on the settings button as soon as the interface opens. Go to the "Advanced" tab to find the the port displayed beneath "Control Port." This is the four-digit number to the right of the IP address of "127.0.0.1." Remember this number for later.

3

Open FrostWire. Select "Tools" and "Options" from the toolbar and navigate to the "Advanced" tab within the new window. Select "Proxy" from the list tree.

4

Check the "HTTP" proxy and type in "localhost" or "127.0.0.1" as the proxy, and put in the four-digit port you looked up within the Tor program. Click the "Apply" button; this configures FrostWire to run through Tor.

No, because Vuze doesn't have a way to check that Firefox is even installed on Windows machines, and it especially doesn't have a way to tell what the default browser is, but IE is pretty much a given.
You can force it to use Firefox though (3.0+..3.5.5 may be having some issues). Take a look at Options -> Interface -> Display. You'll need to give Vuze the path to firefox.exe (just to the containing folder, so probably C:\Program Files\Firefox) Answered Dec, 10 2010
