You can't paste a PDF into the body of an e-mail, but you can paste a jpg file.

Click on Settings > Labs.
Scroll down the listing, until you reach Inserting Images, and enable it. Save changes (at the bottom of the page!) and then when you open up your Rich Text 'Compose Mail' screen, you'll have a new icon on the formatting bar - it looks like a landscape picture.

There are many utilities out there that allow you to edit PDFs, convert PDFs to word docs, and convert word docs to PDF.

You might want to look at some of the free conversion utilities to get a simple word doc from the PDF, set it up the way you want, and get a PDF print driver so that the printed output goes to a PDF file. Answered Feb, 14 2011

You can go to this tutorial for more information, http://www.simpopdf.com/guide/how-to-insert-image-into-pdf.html

It shows a way to insert images into pdf front or behind or middle, I think it can help. Answered May, 16 2011

Pdf file,

you open the file with acrobat reader and click on 'edit' at the top bar, a drop down menu appears which you click on 'copy file to clipboard'.

Place your cursor into the open window of you email body and right click, paste.
