Completely Remove the MacShield and MacDefender from Mac OS X

The easiest way to uninstall software on a Mac is probably AppCleaner. It'll let you search for any files related to the app so you can clean them up in too. You can use it to delete browser plugins and widgets too.

It's true you can simply drag-an-drop applications to the Trash but that'll leave around directories and preferences files which can get messy over time.

If you haven't downloaded anything with Vuze you have nothing to worry about.

Hi, you can do like this:
1.Click "Start" and then "All Programs." Scroll down the list to the entry marked "ESET" and then click on "Uninstall."
2.Follow onscreen prompts to remove the ESET NOD32 security product from your computer.
3.Navigate to "Folder Options" by clicking "Start" and then "Control Panel." Locate the "Folder Options" icon and double-click to change preferences. In the subsequent pop-up screen, click to open the second tab marked "View."
4.In the "View" tab, locate the heading "Hidden files and folders" inside the text area marked "Advanced Settings." Click on the radio button adjacent to the text "Show hidden files and folders." Confirm the action by clicking "Apply" and then "OK."
5.Navigate to "C:\Program Files\ESET" and delete the folder.Right-click on the folder and select "Delete."
6.Delete the folder "C:\Documents and Settings\%USER%\Application Data\ESET."
