Keep your anti-virus software updated to stay safe from the latest threats. Most anti-virus software has an option to automatically update when an update is released by the vendor. Some software requires you to manually update, so make sure you do this frequently if your software requires this.

Be cautious when opening e-mail and visiting websites. Do not visit pornographic websites or websites that seem questionable in any way. Delete suspicious e-mails immediately, without opening them.
