How to select by color in 3ds MAX

Hello, dear friends.
In order to modify my model in 3ds max, I need to select by color in it.
But I don't know the detailed steps about it.

1.First, open 3ds MAX and create some objects. Make sure two objects has the same color.

2.Click Edit menu > Select By > Color. Then, click the object.

3.Here select two same color objects.

when you are in the History pane, there's a label "Edit items..." at the right side of the History caption line. If you click it, each history item is supplied with a check box, and you can click the check boxes to select multiple items Answered Jun, 19 2011
