you need to install japanese/asian languages. You go to control panel, and from there go to the 'Date, Time, Languages and Regional Options' category. From there it will say 'Pick A Task' and you choose the 'Add Other Languages'
When the dialogue box comes up, look down at the section that says "Supplemental Language Support"
Tick the box that says 'Install files for complex script' and
Tick the box that says 'Install files for East Asian Languages'
It will tell you it will take up a certain amount of space and just go 'OK' You should only need the East Asian ones so, you can tick that box only if you like, but I ticked the Complex script one as well, cause you never know when you may need them. Answered Aug, 10 2011

Japanese people doesn't have A-Z instead they use hiragana or Katakana letter
Hiragana
あいうえお A I U E O
かきくけこ KA KI KU KE KO
さしすせそ SA SHI SU(SI) SE SO
たちつてと TA CHI TU TE TO
なにぬねの NA NI NU NE NO
はひふへほ HA HI(HE) FU HE HO
まみむめも MA MI MU ME MO

There is no ethical advice I or any one else can really give you. If you do find a way to proxy or tunnel around your schools firewall or other systems, You are going to break your schools policies. You could well get in trouble with the school, and depending on were you are at it could well be criminal.

download the east asian language pack online
click 'start'
'control panel'
'regional and language options'
click the 'languages tab' and check the 'install files for east asian languages' box, then click 'apply'
click 'details'
'add'
under input language select japanese
check the keyboard layout/ime box and select japanese then click ok
click key settings and select 'switch between input languages left alt+shift' then click ok
apply all your changes then x out of the box
open up microsoft word and push the left alt button and the shift button at the same time
you should see the language change on the bottom right corner of the screen
start typing!
hope this helps:) sometimes the keyboard input doesn't always work so you may have to play around with that a bit Answered Aug, 03 2011
