How to use PakkISO 0.4

sponsored ads

I downloaded pakkISO 0.4 setup, ran it, and it said I installed it, but I don't have pakkISO.exe on my computer whatsoever. When I right click a folder to unpack and ISO, all the options appear and when I choose one, a small black dos command window pops up for less than a second and goes away and nothing happens. Help me please? Asked Mar, 20 2012

Good luck on getting help on this crappy program. I've seached the cyber world all over for
a solution and no luck. The same thing happens when i run it. It installs a bunch of useless files on your pc and does nothing. Answered May, 09 2012

If you have set up PakkISO using the installer, simply right-click the game folder and click either "PakkISO" or "UnpakkISO" to compress or decompress the disc image contained in that folder. Also there are commands with the "(batch)" comment to pack and unpack all games inside of selected folder (e.g., unpack whole set). To update sets packed with previous versions of PakkISO and PackISO use command "Repakk".

Alternatively, if you are using the command-line version:

To compress a game just drag the game folder onto pakkiso.exe and it will automatically compress it.
To uncompress a game just drag the game folder onto unpakkiso.exe and it will automatically uncompress it.
If you're having trouble with the command-line version, remember you must have everything from the zip file in the same directory. You can't just use unpakkIso.exe on its own.
