Once you forgot Windows 7/vista/XP password, Windows Login Recovery is a good choice to recover lost password. However, many Windows users failed to get Windows vista password reset as its large ISO file which is more than 496MB, so I share a useful software which can help you to reset windows vista password easily and effectively. Assuming you’re talking about the password for the administration pages, I don’t think you can recover it. You can reset the password to the default, though — there should be a tiny little button on the router that you can hold down to perform a reset.

Check your router’s manual for more information; it’ll be different on different models of routers.

If you just mean the WiFi password, you can recover it from any computer that has it saved. There are a variety of ways to do this, including third-party utilities like WirelessKeyView: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/can-i-find-my-wifi-encryption-key-from-a-machine-that-is-online/

If only you would have had to use your Windows Live Hotmail password more often. Your browser and Windows Live Hotmail itself always took care of that, however, remembering the arcane combination of numbers and letters for you. Always — until now. Now, you find yourself in a different country in front of an alien computer with a browser that has no idea of your Windows Live Hotmail password.

Of course, it occurs to you, you'd have more to worry about if it knew your password. But trying to get into your account without a password is worrisome, too. Fortunately, Windows Live Hotmail can help. Going through a process of authorization, it allows you to reset your password. Just make sure you remember the new phrase until you're back home.

You could always use something along the lines of Hiren’s Boot CD to remove the admin password or use a Linux LiveCD to remove or reset the password.
