Trying to configure a Ricoh Aficio MP C3300 to scan to email via Gmail. Can't seem to get working. Is this possible, and if so, how is it done?

Mozilla Thunderbird should be excellent for this. I also think Outlook would work quite well. Both programs have a lot of documentation online so if you need step-by-step instructions on how to do something, simply Google it or search our site.
In fact, if you search MakeUseOf for ‘email clients’ you will find a lot of interesting articles that may prove useful.

Scan Gmail attachment?
Gmail automatically scans every attachment when it's delivered to you, and again each time you open a message. Attachments you send are also scanned. Checking attachments for viruses protects our users and their information, and prevents the spread of viruses.
You could download the gmail attachment and manually scan with kaspersky?
