No, galaxy Note 10.1 is a new Android tablet. iTunes M4V movies have DRM protections and you need remove DRM from those M4V movies before successfully play them on Galaxy Note 10.1. NoteBurner M4V Converter for Mac is just the best Galaxy Note 10.1 DRM video converter. the supported video and audio are as follows:
Video
    - Codec: MPEG4, H.263, H.264, VC-1, DivX, WMV7, WMV8, VP8
- Format: 3GP (MP4), WMV (ASF), AVI, FLV, MKV, WebM
- Playback/Recording: 1080p Full HD@30fps, 720p HD@30fps

Audio     - Codec: Codec: MP3, Vorbis, WMA, AAC, ACC+, eAAC+, AMR(NB,WB), MIDI, WAV, AC-3, Flac
- Music Player with SoundAlive
- 3.5mm Ear Jack

So you can see that M4V is not supported for Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, what you need to do is convert the M4V files to the supported video formats.
and what you need is a video converter.
recommend the one I use to you, hope this helps.

Because of DRM restriction, iTunes contents can just play on Apple devices. I use Tune4mac iTunes Video Converter Plus to remove the DRM to convert them to my galaxy note 2. Hope this can help u.

May be you have installed lots of apps that are hanging it.Try removing useless apps. Also try an antivirus scan. I would recommend a trial version of paid security suites such as norton or avast.
