Delete this registry key to reset the trial period of IDM:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\CLSID\{07999AC3-058B-40BF-984F-69EB1E554CA7}

if you just wanna reinstall it, however some programs read the machine code no for your pc to prevent what you are trying to do each machine after System is installed is given a machine code number, but there are plenty of download managers out there so google them & see which one you like.

Just uninstall it in the Control Panel, if that doesn't work, just delete all the related files and registry. Answered Dec, 06 2010
