I want to exclude files from search windows in xp ,is it possible ? How can I do it to realize ? Plz help me with it , many thanks

As far as I know Windows XP does supports arguments like “AND, OR, …” Using “xyz.pdf OR abc.xls OR def.txt” should give you the results you want.
Otherwise you may want to use Windows Search.

Follow these steps:
1. In the taskbar, click the Windows Explorer button .
2. In the navigation pane (the left pane), click the library that you want to remove folders from.
3. In the library pane (above the file list), next to Includes, click Locations.
4. In the dialog box that appears, click the folder you want to remove, click Remove, and then click OK.
