How to Delete(clear) Onenote Cache?

Windows Vista and 7

Click "Computer" to the desktop to launch Windows Explorerand double-click the "C:" drive.

Double-Click on the "Users" folder and then your username folder. Click the "AppData" folder and the "Local" folder.

Double-click the "Microsoft" folder and then the "OneNote" folder. Double-click the "12.0" folder. Locate the "OneNoteOfflineCache.onecache" file and right-click it. Click "Delete."

Windows XP

Double-click "My Computer" to launch Windows Explorer and then double-click the "C:" drive.

Double-click the "Documents and Settings" folder and then your username folder. Double-click the "Application Data" folder and then the "Local" folder.

Double-click the "Microsoft" folder and then the "OneNote" folder. Double-click the "12.0" folder. Locate the "OneNoteOfflineCache.onecache" file and right-click it. Click "Delete."

actually,if u want the accruate location of the cache file and clear it ,here:

1. I hope all your notebooks are synched ...
2. Close ALL notebooks in ON to decouple them from the cache and close ON.
3. In XP the path (a hidden path !)to the cache is:
C:\Documents and Settings\<User>\Local
Settings\Applicationdata\Microsoft\OneNote\12.04. The cache itself is a file called
OneNoteOfflineCache.onecache
5. Under Vista/W7 search for that file.
6. Delete it.
7. Start ON and re-open ALL notebooks. It will take a while to re-create
the cache.

there is one way to do it.you could download iWipe, it will automatically do it.I think its better to do it yourself. I mean you will waste memory/battery life to be lazy and not take 5sec to delete the cache every time you get a new theme. Answered Dec, 12 2010

ios system with the windows system is not the same, no cache. Normal use on it, delete the corresponding application, the corresponding archive file will be deleted Answered Jul, 11 2011
