answer this question

Open a video file with VLC media player.

In the playback bar, click on the "Show extended settings" button that is right next to the playlist button.

Then the "Adjustments and Effects" dialog box shows up. Choose the "video effects" tab, you will find the "basic" tab is selected by default. Check the "Image adjust" checkbox.

After you have checked the "Image adjust" tab, you can adjust the color of the video by dragging the slide bar, such as the hue, contrast, brightness saturation andgamma of the video. You also can rotate or sharpen the video in this tab.

The changes take place in real time, so you can check the changed color immediately.

1.Click the "Finder" icon on your Macintosh screen's dock and locate the video file you wish to open in the VLC media player.

2.Hold down the "Control" key on your keyboard and click the video file.

3.Move the cursor to "Open With" on the pop-up menu and click "Other" on the submenu.

4.Click "VLC" from the Applications window to highlight it and click the box next to "Always Open With." Click the "Open" button to save the settings and open the video file in the VLC media player. Answered Mar, 08 2011
