Size and position Chrome, click on the Customize and Control Google Chrome icon (the Wrench icon), click on the About Google Chrome, then click on the OK button. This worked for me. Answered May, 15 2011

You have to physically drag the lower right-hand corner of the window to expand it to maximum size. It's one of the ways Apple decided to "think different". You can try the green button,

1) Right click the desktop
2) Select "Personalize"
3) Select "Windows Color and Appearance"
4) Select "Open classic appearance properties for more color options"
5) Select a color scheme other than "Windows Aero" (Both "Windows Vista Basic" and "Windows Classic" worked)

Cheers, now Chrome windows appears!
