how do i get rid of babylon toolbar from vista

1.install the Revouninstaller (http://www.revouninstaller.com/)

2.Start>>Control pannel>>Add-Or-Remove-Programs,wipe out "Babylon",

restart your pc

then go to "Tools"..."Internet Options"...."General"...."Home Page". There you will see that this deplorable translating tool "Babylon" has so conveniently (for them) changed your Home Page to read "Babylon". Whaddya expect? Hey, just type in www.google.com .... click "OK" and "Apply".

1.Just click on the tools (the wrench icon in the upper right corner), and go to "Options". There you will see your startup page, and you can change that from "http://search.Babylon.com" to "http://www.google.com",
2.Then below that you will see a pulldown tab that says "Default Search" and it will be set to "babylon search" - just pull down the tab to pick another search provider - I assume you want Google so pick that.
3.Make sure you go to any other browsers you use (Firefox, IE, etc) and also reset your homepage to whatever you'd like, because Babylon automatically set your default homepage as "http://search.babylon.com" in ALL your installed browsers. Answered Apr, 14 2011

Regretfully a lot of companies are adding these "pains" into our lives. Firefox upgrade just dumped Yahoo tool bar on me and never even asked if I wanted it. You should be able to go to you Add Ons menu item and and click uninstall. If push comes to shove, go to Control Panel --> Add remove programs find the ashampoo app and remove it
