how to unlock fill bucket in flash

Myself and 2 teachers just spent over an hour trying to figure this out when the student computer lab guy comes over and in 2 seconds has it fixed.
Make sure when you try to fill your bucket that you don't have a stroke tool selected like pencil. Select the bucket tool first then try to fill it with your color swatch. Worked for me an dhopefully will work for everyone. Answered Apr, 27 2011

I know what you mean I think, if you click on the fill tool, then go to the bottom of the tool window, there should be a button that will lock/unlock your fill tool. You're welcome if that works.
