Hi, the VLC plugin for Google Chrome does not really exist. But you can install Mozilla VLC Plugin to check if it works in Google Chrome.

There are two ways to install VLC Mozilla Plugin.

Way 1: Install Mozilla Plugin when you install VLC Player
Reinstall VLC player if you have installed it.
During the installation, check Mozilla Plugin when it tells you to choose which features you want to install.

Way 2: Copy the two files in VLC_Installation_folder\mozilla (usually C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\mozilla) to your mozilla plugins directory (Usually C:\Program Files\Mozilla\plugins or C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins).

However, for those who get "Your VLC plugin has not been detected" , the best way is VLC Mozilla Plugin & use IETab (a chrome extension to display web pages in IE in a new tab)
