Hold down Ctrl button from keyboard and scroll (by mouse wheel) from mouse then you will see the changed size of icons.

OR

Following steps.

  1. Click on “Start Menu” and run “Control Panel”.
  2. Click on “Change Theme”. If your Control Panel’s view setting is “Small Icon” or “Large Icon” then you should click on “Display” icon and after it click on link label “Personalize”. You can change vie setting by clicking on “View by:__”.
  3. We are not going to change theme, just click on “Window Color”.
  4. Click on “Advance appearance settings. . .”
  5. Click on drop-down menu having “Desktop” as selected item and then “Icon”.
  6. Increase size of icons and click on Apply.
    Icon size will change immediately.

Right Click your Mouse
Scroll down to Properties
At the top of the box in Properties you will see Appearance.
Click on Appearance, then down the bottom left side you will see font size. You can choose from three sizes. Answered Dec, 25 2010
