1. Select the paragraph from the word document for which you would like to select special indent space and then click on “Home” tab of the “Word 2010” ribbon to invoke the sub-options mentioned in it. The option will be displayed in the “Word 2010” ribbon itself.
2. Locate the button for “Line and Paragraph Spacing” in the “Paragraph” section of Home tab located in Word 2010 ribbon. Now click on the “Line and Paragraph Spacing” button and then again click on the option “Line Spacing Options…” from the list which gets invoked, to open the “Paragraph” dialog box.
3. Click on “Indents and Spacing” and then click the down arrow mark of the selection box for “Special:” option under “Indentation” section of the “Paragraph” dialog box and then click on the type of special indent value you would like to apply on the selected paragraph text. Now click on “OK” button of the “Paragraph” dialog box to successfully apply the customization and for closing the “Paragraph” dialog box.
4. You will find that the selected paragraph is now having the special indent type as per your selected customization.
