You mean book fold printing? Well, you can print a booklet from Word or from your printer, but you should not be doubling up on the settings. Word's "Book fold" setting is designed to print a booklet using the normal, everyday, default printer settings. You would have to consult your printer documentation to know what the printer's booklet setting does, but it should NOT be used in conjunction with Word's booklet feature.

You may be right. I haven't used "Book fold" a great deal, though I know it is possible to (sort of) make it work. You might want to try a different approach, described at http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/BookletPrinting.htm Answered Dec, 30 2010

They're most likely drawing lines and possibly anchored to the header. If

you can't select them while working in the document, try using View | Header
to access the header pane and then see if you can grab them. If so, you can
(a) delete them and/or (b) save them as AutoText entries for ease of
insertion in another document.
