Just use different brushes hat come withIllustrator or build or modify one to suit your needs. Then change the color. It's the easiest way to do it.

Hope that helped

1.Open up a chalk background image drawn in Painter, and then drag and drop the image you want to render.

2.Click on the Layer Mask icon to add a layer mask. Painting in the layer mask in black erases, painting in white will bring back whatever you've erased. Use the Airbrush to knock out the background.

3.Now let's get a little chalky. Give the Hard Light layer a little Diffuse filter, set to normal. This will make it slightly chalkier-looking-- go ahead and run the filter twice if needed.

4.Next, use your pressure-sensitive airbrush tool to knock back a little at the bottom, to let the texture show through.

5.Done.

You can try:
1. Filter > Stylize > Find Edges

2. Desaturate (CTRL-Shift-U / Command-shift-U)

3. Invert ( CTRL- I / Command - I)

4. New Layer > fill with blue [ put below image layer ]

5. Set layer blending mode of the image (not blue fill) to Screen

6. Fiddle with levels on the image layer to remove unnecessary lines Answered Nov, 29 2010
