It's probably the mic. You should use the noise removal feature in Audacity to get rid of it. It's easy to use, I use Audacity more than FL Studio because I find it's better than FL Studio.

I did use FL Studio before I found out about Audacity. It's good for recording/editing. Unless you are using FL to make beats and stuff you can't record, in which case you can use FL and then put it on Audacity and edit it.

But, if you're recording use Audacity for the noise removal.

Plus, it's free.

Since the problem has been there with the headset and the mic, it's pointing to the soundcard itself.

Depending on how the adapter is wired, your ground connection could be floating. That would cause a lot of buzz. Best to get a mono-to-mono adapter.

My bet is that the ground connection on the sound card is compromised. If you can, try the mic on a friend's computer and see if the buzz is still there. Answered Apr, 04 2011

1.
      Step 1

Open Sony Acid Music. The program should have an icon on your computer's desktop screen. Double-click on this icon to open the program. Allow the program to open successfully before conducting any further action.
   2.
      Step 2

Load the song from which you want to remove vocals into the Sony Acid Music program. Click on the "File" tab in the upper-right corner of the screen. Select the "Open" action. When the Windows Explorer dialog window opens, locate the song you want to use and highlight the file. Click on the "Open" action. The song will be displayed in the Sony Acid queue.
   3.
      Step 3

Open the vocal eraser plug-in in your Sony Acid Music program. Click on the "View" tab at the top of the screen. Select the "Audio Plug-In" tab. (Or simply press and hold the "Alt+9" key on your computer's keyboard until the plug-in window opens.) When the Audio Plug-in dialog window opens, select the Sony Vocal Eraser VST Plug-in within the list of installed audio plug-ins.
   4.
      Step 4

Place the song into the plug-in portal. Drag the song from the queue to the Sony vocal eraser plug-in editorial portal. Double-click on the song's wave pattern in the Sony Acid queue. The song's wave pattern will now be displayed in the vocal eraser queue.
   5.
      Step 5

Remove the vocals from the song. Use the knobs, modules, low and high pass filters, and equalizer settings to remove the vocal pattern from the song. Turn the low pass filter up. This filter is the instrumental pattern of the song. Use the high pass filter knob to diminish the volume of the vocals so the instrumental pattern can drown out the vocals. Use your discretion to edit the equalizer modules as needed. This action will smooth out the removal of the vocal pattern.
