POP3 access

You can read and write your emails at leisure. Get emails from your Rediffmail account
your desktop. This is a paid service. You need to first buy POP3 Access.

here i will show you how to setup yahoo email account on ipod touch. Make sure your ipod is already jailbreaked with latest firmware and iphone applications installed especially mail. Note: If you dont live in Uk dont put "co.uk"……………just put ".com" read follows. how to setup yahoo pop settings. first logon ur yahoo account then go to options and then "POP Access and Forwarding". Select both "Web & POP Access" and "When downloading new messages". Dont forget to save it. Now on "Web & POP Access" line you will see [POP Setting]. Just click it. New window will come. This is the instruction to follow carefully. So go to ipod touch or iphone and mail setting and yahoo settings and enter those information. If you dont live in UK, your Incoming Mail Server (POP3) will be : "pop.mail.yahoo.com" instead of "pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk". Same in Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP). smtp.mail.yahoo.com instead of smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk. And make sure port number correctly entered. Try & then check. It should work. Let me know. cheers.

1. Go to Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars and tap Add Account... under Accounts.

2. Select Other, and then, Mail Account. DO NOT select Gmail.

3. Use imap.gmail.com as incoming server and smtp.gmail.com as outgoing server. Put in your entire gmail address and password in both incoming and outgoing server settings.

4. Go back to iPad home and start up the Mail app. Once it connects and downloads mail for the first time, go back to Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Select the new mail account you just created, scroll down, and tap Advanced.

5. Select Drafts Mailbox > On the Server > Drafts. Return to the Advanced view.

6. Select Sent Mailbox > On the Server > Sent Mail. Return to the Advanced view.

7. Select Deleted Mailbox > On the Server > Deleted Messages

8. Back all the way out and hit Done. Answered Feb, 24 2011

Basically what the other folks are saying here is absolutely right. The only thing I can add to this is that there is always a good chance that the person sending you the email does not want his IP to be revealed, and he is taking the appropriate actions to conceal it. If you feel you are abused you can always report it to the rediffmail customer support team. But I would join the other responders here and advise you to just let it go.
