check

Here are the instructions:

1 Open regedit as an administrator account on the server in question.
2 Navigate to HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces\[Choose the interface in question] (Do this by 3 checking the correct IP address is in the settings under this key for the adapter you are configuring)
3 Once you are in the correct key for your interface, right-click and select new DWORD value (32 bit).
4 Call it MTU
5 Give this a decimal value equal to the setting you would like your MTU to be (measured in bytes). Answered Jan, 04 2011

Open cmd, input "netsh interface ipv4 show subinterfaces" and enter; then you can see your MTU.
(you can press win+R and type "cmd" into the run box to open cmd) Answered Jul, 14 2011

You need to find the interface you want to change first.
Input the command below into "Run"
netsh interface ipv4 show subinterfaces
to find correct interface.
Then set the MTU of interface
netsh interface ipv4 set subinterface "1" mtu=1500 store=persistant
Hope this can help you. Answered Dec, 14 2010
