* To create an anaglyph, you must have two photographs; one taken with the left eye and one taken with the right eye. Open both of the images you've taken in Photoshop. Tile your windows (Window> Arrange> Tile) both of the images can be seen. While holding the shift key, drag the image taken with your left eye to the other image. Close the image taken with the left eye.
* You should now have one image opened with two layers. make sure that the image mode is RGB (Image> Mode> RGB). If you need to change your document to RGB, do not flatten your layers if Photoshop asks if you want to flatten your layers.
* In the Channels window (Window> Channels), select the red channel (Ctrl+1) and use the Apply Image tool (Image> Apply Image) to apply the following properties:Layer: Background,Channel: RGB,Invert: Checked,Blending: Norma,Opacity: 100%.
* Select the RGB channel (Ctrl+~). Rollover the image in this step to see the original image before this Photoshop technique was applied. Answered Jan, 02 2011
