how to blur background in photoscape

i wanna edit some photos in photoscape. Is there anyone can teach me how to blur background in photoscape? Thanks in advance!

well,two pictures here to make it clear that u want this knid of effect .

actually i know it can easily be fix in photoshop.but photoscape??i dont know

you can solve the problem as bellow:

  1.  Open the image you want to process.
  2. Check to see what the dimensions and resolution are.
  3. Before you do anything to the image, open a new blank file.
  4. Check the dimension and resolution of the new file.  If they don't match your original, change them.
  5. Fill the new file with any color you want for your background color.
  6.  Go back to your original file.
  7.  Choose the eliptical marquee tool.
  8.  Set the feather to 10-20 pixels.
  9. Select an oval around your main subject.
  10. Copy it with [CTRL]+[C].
  11. Go back to the file with your background color.
  12.  Display the copied selection with [CTRL]+[V].
  13. Merge the visible layers with [CTRL]+[SHIFT]+[E].
