1)    Open your document in Microsoft Word. and select the text you want to make into superscript with your mouse. If you have not written it yet, you can follow the Steps below, type your text and then turn off the superscript before typing anything else.
2)    Select the "Home" menu. In the Font section, locate the Superscript button. It will look like an X with a small 2 above and to the right of it
3)    Click on the "Superscript" button. If you selected text before doing this, only that text will be made superscript. If you have not typed the text yet, you will need to click the Superscript button again after you type the superscript text to return to normal-sized text.
4)    Click on the little box to the right of "Font" in the Font section of the Home menu to accomplish the same thing. This will open the Font dialogue box. Locate "Superscript" near the bottom and select it by clicking on the box to the left of it. Answered Dec, 22 2010
