The auto lock in windows 7 registry has brought me some little troubles and made me feel uncomfortable, so I wonder to know how to disable this function. Who can show me the steps?

You can do it as the following steps:
If you have XP Pro,

Click on Start > Run > type gpedit.msc

See if the settings have been modified under the following:

User Configuration\ Administrative Templates\ Control Panel\ Display\ Screen Saver timeout

User Configuration\ Administrative Templates\ Control Panel\ Display\ Password protect the screen saver
