I know that I can choose "Run As" to run an application once as Administrator under a limited account, but is there a way to get permanent admin access windows 7 Many thanks?

You cant! Thing is, windows 2000 was built on the basis of the NT kernel, and thus will not allow access without password. You cant even set up an admin account without a password.

I don't think this problem should occur unless there is some outside force creating an invalid AutoCAD profile for new users. If AutoCAD is already on the machine and a new user logs in, AutoCAD should create a default profile the first time it is used. You can verify this by deleting the key mentioned below. I have tested this extensively with 2009 but I suppose there could be a bug in 2010. Answered Jun, 30 2011
