How to convert .flac audio file to play on my ipod?

I've found two tutorials on how to do it for free.

While the first one may seem more difficult because it requires you to convert to .WAV first then to .MP3, but the second step of that conversion is done automagically with iTunes, so really not allot of work. This assumes that you want your files in a traditional lossy format (compressed). However, if your original FLAC files are lossless, you may wish to convert. I kind of assumed that you were using a PC earlier, but if you have a Mac you can use this
