How to smooth edges with turbosmooth in 3ds max?

I want to smooth some hard edges on the models. How can I do that in 3d max? Please give me some advice.Thanks! Asked Nov, 20 2010

For partial smoothing, simply select all the faces you want to smooth together scroll down in the editable poly/mesh tollbar to the smoothing groups (a big grid of numbers) and choose a number.

For no smoothing select the whole model and deselect all of the smoothing groups associated with it (in the same place).

Usually you get the best results from NURMS ("non-unified rational meshsmooth")
Apply the Meshsmooth modifier and under 'method' choose 'NURMS'.
You can increase the number of iterations to achieve better smoothness.
