How do you turn off Opera auto update?

While using the Opera, I want to turn off its auto update because I want to release some system resources. What should I do? Anyone knows? Asked Nov, 27 2010

Just click the bars in the order below:
    Tools > Preferences... > Advanced > Security > Auto-update > Do not check for updates Answered Nov, 27 2010

This may be what you are looking for.

Open the Digsby application and log in.

Select "Preferences" from the menu bar. Select "General and Profile."

Disable the option to automatically download and install updates. Click "OK" to save the changes.

By default the locks are not set. UltraEdit reads the settings first from the INI file. 

You will need to copy and paste the following into your INI file to set this lock: 

[Locks] 
Updates=1
