You can delete this entry from the registry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunRESTART_STICKY_NOTES

Or, try to delete this file C:\Windows\system32\StikyNot.exe (make a backup first).

You can delete this entry from the registry:

Or, try to delete this file C:\Windows\system32\StikyNot.exe (make a backup first).

If the sticky notes files are in Windows.old, you can still open them. Replaced that in your new windows and the sticky notes will be back. Answered Feb, 11 2011
