how to mute or delete audio from one clip in Pinnacle Studio 12

sponsored ads

every time I try deleting or muting sound off a split clip, example, I speeded up a video but I would like to get rid of the fast audio but keep other clips intact and add background music to this speed up clip, how can I do this? Asked Dec, 12 2010

answer this question

I Have studio 9 plus and in that i would select the clip and bring up the sound toolbox and just lower the volume on that one clip to nothing.

other than that the another way of doing it would be to copy that one chapter into a new project, delete the audio from it, render it out so you have a new version. then reopen the original project and replace the old chapter with the new silent one.

I hope I've understood you correctly and that this helps. Answered Jun, 14 2011

Yes, as far as I know, Pinnacle Video 12 can do it. Here is the steps:
1.Open Pinnacle Video 12, you may have to wait for seconds, then it loads completely onto the screen.
2.Select "File," "Open" and choose a video.Click "OK" and the project loads onto the screen.
3.Select "File," "Import" and you will see an import window. Next find the Flash file you want to import. Click the file and choose "OK." The Flash video file uploads directly into the program as a thumbnail in the project's video library.
Hope that helps.:) Answered Jul, 18 2011
