how to 3ds-max sandstorm

Who have a tutorial on 3ds max about. how to create a sandstorm type effect? My particles just look horrible!Even a sand blowing effect would be good.

"you just turn them into obdjects call one rotation and one emitter

-now you position the emitter near the border of the comp and the rotation-null in the center

-then you put an expression into th rotation-null´s y rotation : time*250;

-and then you animate the emitters position over time like a V ( more organic)

- then you parent the emitter to the rotation-null

- create an ajustment layer

- make it 3d

- alt-click on the position an write :

x=thisComp.layer(""Emitter"");

x.toWorld(thisComp.layer(""Emitter"").transform.anchorPoint);

- Last step is parenting the emitter of th particular layer to the position of th ajustment-layer 。" Answered Dec, 16 2010
