how to uninstall imesh search in google chrome

The function of imesh may be so useful, but I don't like it, so can anyone tell me how to uninstall it?

Uninstall the mediabar (start -> control panel -> add/remove programs -> iMesh mediabar -> remove).

Consider going to http://forums.imesh.com/forums and posting your question in the iMesh 8 section where I am sure you will receive the help you need to remove it. Answered Dec, 11 2010

Use the buttons in the dialog to manage the search engines in the list. You'll need to provide the following information for each search engine:

Just go to synaptic package manager, search for Google Desktop and mark it for removal, apply changes, that should be it.
You might wanna have a look in System-prefs-sessions-start up sessions and if the link to google desktop is still there remove it from start up sessions. Answered Feb, 16 2011
