I have a publisher who says he needs a manuscript to be at least 300 dpi. My manuscript is a pdf. How do I find out what its dpi is? Asked Dec, 25 2010

Go to the Control Panel, open the Printers, right-click on "Adobe PDFWriter", then select properties. Click on "Preferences", "Page Setup", then select the resolution in the "Graphic" section. Answered Dec, 25 2010

Select pre-defined value of DPI or if you want to make custom then click on "Set custom size of text".
Select DPI value then click "OK" and restart your computer. DPI will change.
Remember to restart your computer.

1.   Click on “Start Menu” and run “Control Panel”.


2.   Select "Large icons", or "Small icons" from view dropdown menu.


3.   Click on "Display" button.


4.   Select pre-defined value of DPI or if you want to make custom then click on "Set custom size of text".


5.   Select DPI value then click "OK" and restart your computer. DPI will change.
