the easiest way is just to make a folder on your thumbdrive and then drag all the songs in straight out of iTunes. (drag & drop)

this worked on my mac Answered Jan, 16 2011

1. First run iTunes, go to the Menu bar and click Edit and than Preferences.
2. Now go to the Advanced tab and note down the location of the library folder that is in the upper portion of this window.
3. Plug-in your USB drive and open your system's file browser.
4. Now just drag the iTunes library folder on the USB drive by locating the drive-letter icon for your drive.
5. Finally, go to the "Store" menu in iTunes, Authorize the new computer and Deauthorize the old computer.

Hello ..I hope I can help you with your problem of burning an itunes playlist to USB.

Just drag and drop.
Open the playlist, edit->select all, then drag them out of itunes and into a Finder (mac) or Explorer (Windows) window, and you'll get all the mp3's dumped into the folder you drop them in.

It wont convert them though, so if there's any non-mp3's stuff in there, you'd have to convert them beforehand (use a smart playlist to make sure it only contains mp3s).

God bless you

1Open iTunes and then insert a blank CD into your computer.
2 Choose iTunes from the Action menu, and click OK.
3 Choose the playlist you want to copy to CD.
4 Double-click your playlist and change the name.
5 Make sure the size of the playist does not exceed the amount of space on a CD
6 Click the Burn Disc button to begin copying the songs from your computer to the CD.
7 When the files are copied, a CD icon will appear in the iTunes Source list.
8 Click the Eject button to eject your CD. Answered Dec, 31 2010
