4 I want to reduce an attached photo pix size in Gmail and If my photo size is 300 mb, can I attach and reduce pix sizes while playing Gmail?Is it posible?(windows vista ;outlook 3;mcafee)

sorry you cannot reduce the attachment file. you will need to reduce it on your pc before you attach it.

There is a way to do what you want, but you will need to download and install Affixa.
And then set up Affixa to work with GMail.
Then, when you right click on an image file, and choose Send to/Email Recipient, Affixa takes over and offers you a choice of sizes.
Choose the size you want and click OK.
The attachment will then be sent to your GMail drafts folder by Affixa, and you can open up the draft in GMail and send it to whoever you want to. Answered Jan, 17 2011

You'd need to use some other application to do the reduction.
For information, Gmail allows attachments of up to 20MB. However, many mailboxes have a 4MB size limit, which is perhaps why you're looking to reduce picture size.
I think you can use Picasa for this. Once you upload a picture to picasa you can email that picture with a lesser size. Answered Feb, 04 2011
