hi,guy,I think the only way I could think to do it is go in and modify the person's skin. Generally people call that display "Songticker." You will see a field called "font" you can set to Arial or whatever. good luck.

1. Right click the Skypeicon (the desktop shortcut)
2. Click on Properties
3. In the properties windows you see a "target"-box with the text
"C:Program FilesSkypePhoneSkype.exe"
4. Add /nosplash to the text - see below
