I had a similar problem and so the solution I found might be of help to you. (1) Connect to the Internet. (2) Start RealPlayer 11. On the top, click "Tools" (3) Then click "Check for Updates". (4) Follow the instructions to install the Critical Updates. After that the "Download this video" button should reappear when you watch videos with IE8. Hope It can help you a lot...
