how to mosaic a face

Does anyone know how to make a face mosaic of several pictures of the same person just with different expressions and then putting it into one face? I hear that photoshop can help but I don’t know how to operate. Asked Mar, 06 2011

i'd assume you just cut the pieces by having pics all the same size then dividing the pixels of each side by however many pics you want. That was confusing, i'll use an example say you have 9 1500px x 1500px pictures. You would cut a 500px x 500px pieces out of each pic, using a different section for each pic. To do this, open each pic, and grab the crop tool. Place guides every 500 px and turn snap to guides on. Crop out the 1/9th of the pic that you want. Once you have each pic cropped, drag each pic into a new doc that is the original size of the pics. Arrange the pics in the area they originally came from, and voila, you have your mosaic. Any questions, just make another post, as I'll be on later.
Edit: Just an fyi, if you want pixels insted of inches when you insert the guides, just put px after the number

You can make it by following steps:
Scan the photo and enlarge it until it becomes very pixilated
If you persist until the pixels are the same size as the precut mosaic pieces this would make the project easier
When the student is happy with the size of the pixilation tell them to print this image in colour
Adhere the image to the paste board
Prick and press down any bubbles of air that may have been caught under the photocopy
Colour match the squares to the pixels
Decide whether there are enough skin tones or whether the students will need to mix and paint some of the skin tones by painting the cartridge paper with rollers. If this is necessary, students will need to continue coating the paper until it becomes thick they will then spray it with varnish so that it becomes glossy like the other cardboard pieces. Some differences in texture only add the authenticity and hand made appearance of the project.
Like a jigsaw or 'paint by numbers' use tweezers to place the pieces first onto an ice cream lid which has glue spread evenly over it and then place the pieces on to the matching pixal of the mosaic face
Press down on each one with the tweezers or skewer easing into position
Ensure that none of the pieces dry with out being pressed firmly and no squares remain curled up at the corners

Make your face fit on another one face?

I presume that you want to express like that: Put Your Face on Another Body. Is it?
