To mute audio in a video clip, do the following:
First, On the Audio or Audio/Music track of the timeline, click the audio clip that you want to mute. To select multiple clips, press and hold down the CTRL key as you click clips.
Second, Click Clip, point to Audio, and then click Mute.
OK, the clip sound has been mute now. I hope my solution can help you. Good luck~ Answered Mar, 08 2011

1. You click on the specific clip that you want to mute
2. you can either right click and find volume or you can go to the drop down menu at the top (Clip, I think) then look for volume then another sub-menu with mute in it. Answered Apr, 17 2011

1. Open the project containing the clip you want to trim. Click the Edit tab and then the Trim icon.
2. Click the clip you want to trim, and then click the Play button.
3. When you reach the point where you want to trim, click the Pause button.
4. Move either the starting or ending trim indicator against the slider, depending on whether you want to trim the beginning or end of the clip.
5. When you have the trim points set with the trim indicators, click the Save and Close icon in the upper-right corner. Answered Feb, 20 2011
