you could select whole eye and copy, remove black area, then paste reflection over top and adjust brightness contrast slightly, try doing some test shots of your eyes with out flash, and edit to compare variations, try selecting white areas and changing hues and desaturate slightly. Follow the steps:
.Identify the object in your photo to which you would like to add color. Choose an object that typically has significant color, such as flowers, a brightly colored shirt, red lips or bright blue eyes.

.Position your black and white photo onto a clean, flat surface. Although the translucent scrapbooking gel paint is easy to use and clean if it spills, lay a plastic place mat or paper towel under the photo to protect your work surface.

.Dip your thin, acrylic paint brush tip into the paint. Use whatever color paint fits the object you'd like to enhance. Lightly scrape off excess paint from the brush on the side of the paint bottle to avoid globs.

.Apply the paint to the object in your photo. Ensure that you add the color to the entire object. Repeat these steps to enhance any other objects in your photo.

.Allow the photo to dry completely -- about 2 hours -- before handling, framing and displaying.
