How to Burn iTunes TV Shows to DVD discs

I want to watch my iTunes TV shows on my large TV set. However, the TV shows purchased from iTunes store have DRM copy-protection. So how can I remove the protection and burn them to DVD discs to watch on my TV set with my DVD player?

Solution

Download and install Tunebite to remove DRM copy-protect of your iTunes TV shows.

Run Tunebite and choose Demo mode or enter your license key.
Click Add to add your iTunes TV shows video files to remove the protection.
Click Advanced to get more options to set your convert video files.
Click Start to remove the DRM copy-protection of your iTunes TV shows.
Note that the demo version of Tunebite will only convert 60 seconds of your TV shows.
The default convert folder is X:\Documents and Settings\XXX\My Documents\My Music\Tunebite.
You can find your converted TV shows there.

Use WinAVI Video Convert to convert the WMV files to DVD video files.

Choose DVD to add your TV shows just converted.
You can add, remove and rearrange them.
Click Browse to locate your converted DVD videos files.
Click Advanced to get your advanced DVD settings.
Click OK to convert your TV shows to DVD videos.

Insert a blank DVD disc.
Use Nero to burn your iTunes TV shows to the DVD disc.

Run the program and choose Nero Burning ROM.
Choose DVD > DVD-Video.
Click New to create your iTunes TV shows DVD disc.
Right click in the left blank area and select Add Files… to add your converted iTunes TV shows files.

Find your DVD folder and choose the VIDEO_TS folder and click Add.
Click Burn to burn your Video DVD disc.
Then, click Burn to begin to burn your iTunes TV shows to DVD disc.
And then you can enjoy your iTunes TV shows on your TV set.

Tips

A DVD disc has a capacity of 4.3G, so your converted TV shows should be less than 4.3G in total. If it's more than 4.3G, you should separate them to two or more parts and less than 4.3G for each part.
If you want to use the full version of Tunebite, you have to pay for it to get your register code.
If you don't register WinAVI Video Converter software, it will add a watermark over your video when you convert your video. So you can buy it or use other convert softwares to convert your video to DVD files.
