How to Convert FAT or FAT32 to NTFS in Windows 7

I installed Windows 7, and the other partitions in my hard disk are FAT32 file system, I want to convert these partitions from FAT32 to NTFS, how can I convert FAT32 or FAT partitions to NTFS without lost data in Windows 7?

Solution

  1. Type in "cmd" in start menu search area, right click "cmd" and select "Run as administrator":

  2. For example, the second partition in the computer use FAT32 file system.

    So, type in:
    convert d: /fs:ntfs
     in the "cmd" window:
