How to Display Network Icon on Desktop in Windows 7
In the default settings of Windows 7, Only the Recycle bin icon is shown on the desktop, you may want to add other icons such as Computer and Network, to display Network icon on desktop in Windows 7 just follow these simple steps.
Solution
- Right click on desktop then select Personalize
- Click on Change desktop icons in the left pane, in the Desktop Icon Settings window, check the box in front of Network to show the Network icon on the desktop. Press OK to confirm.
- The Network icon will be shown on the desktop.
- You can customize other desktop icons in a similar way.
