Most icons in Windows Vista Notification Area can be customized, but I found the Windows Defender icon only display when it has a warning message, and I want Windows Defender icon always display in the Notification area, so how to display Windows Vista Defender icon in Notification Area?
Solution
- Find "Windows Defender" in Start Menu, and Click to enter Windows Defender:
- Click "Tools" then "Options" :
- Scroll down the Scroll bar and find the select box show in the picture below, select "Always". Press Save to apply changes:
- Now Windows Vista Defender icon Will display in Notification Area:
